Savannah-Hardin County Center

The Savannah-Hardin County Center was the first off-campus educational facility to be opened by Jackson State. The Center opened in Spring of 1998 through the combined efforts of Jackson State, Hardin County, and the City of Savannah.

The Center is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges to offer the Associate Degree in General Studies. A full service campus, the Center is an extension of the main campus in Jackson, TN.

The Center has exceeded all expectations of growth. As our growth has accelerated, students from surrounding areas have become aware of the Center's reputation and have chosen to begin their education here before attending a four-year institution.

Students are encouraged to participate in campus activities such as Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, Student Government, and local community activities that promote local student recognition.
