Foundation Scholarships – JSCC Foundation Scholarships are funded through our college foundation to help more students access their first associate degree.
Grants – Examples include the Federal Pell Grant and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG).
JSCC Scholarships – These include the Success and Innovation Scholarship and Academic Service Scholarship.
Private Loan Information — Private Loans are loans based on income and credit through a lender, application must be done with the lender and might require a co-signer. Note: JSCC does not participate in the Federal loan programs.
Tennessee Education Lottery Scholarship – The HOPE Scholarship is established and funded from the net proceeds of the state lottery and awarded to entering freshmen who are enrolled at an eligible postsecondary institution within sixteen (16) months after graduating from an eligible high school in Tennessee.
Tennessee Promise – Tennessee Promise is both a scholarship and mentoring program focused on increasing the number of students who attend college in our state.
Tennessee Reconnect – The TN Reconnect Grant is available to students who are classified as independent on the FAFSA OR at least 23 years of age by January 1 of the academic year of enrollment who have not previously earned an associate degree or more advanced degree and are enrolled at least part-time in an eligible program of study.
Veterans Assistance – JSCC is dedicated to supporting veterans, service members, and their families, including with help navigating available VA or Department of War (DoW) financial assistance.
Federal Work Study – The Federal Work-Study Program (FWS) is a federally funded program designed to encourage and promote part-time employment opportunities for students with demonstrated financial need.
Other Scholarships – These could include outside/private scholarships you bring with you from employers, community groups, etc.
