This is a one-day non-credit course offered through the Workforce Solutions department of JSCC. Non-credit courses are not eligible for financial aid, and college admission is not required.

This one-day seminar provides a comprehensive introduction to Statistical Process Control (SPC). Participants will learn the fundamental concepts, tools, and techniques necessary to monitor and improve process performance. This course is designed for individuals in quality assurance, operations, engineering, and management who seek to enhance product quality and reduce costs.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the basic principles of statistical process control
  • Identify common and special causes of variation
  • Construct and interpret control charts (X-bar, R, p, c)
  • Calculate process capability indices (Cp, Cpk)
  • Apply SPC techniques to improve process performance
  • Utilize SPC tools to make data-driven decisions

Who Should Attend:
