Jackson State Community College to Host Easter Egg Drop for Community

JACKSON, TENN. – Jackson State Community College (JSCC) Athletics is set to host the largest Easter Egg Hunt and Egg Drop in West Tennessee on Saturday, April 19, 2025. The event will take place across from JSCC’s Ned. R McWherter Center located at 37 Alumni Drive, Jackson, TN, 38301.

Festivities will begin at 10 a.m., with the egg drop taking place at 11 a.m. Kids of all ages can enjoy a variety of activities during the event, including:

  • Egg drops for all age groups – Five Age-Specific Zones
    • 0-2 years old
    • 3-5 years old
    • 6-9 years old
    • 10-13 years old
    • 14 years and older
  • Food trucks and local vendors
  • Games and music
  • Free admission to the Green Jays baseball game, beginning at Noon

Admission to the event is free, and everyone from Madison County and West Tennessee is encouraged to attend.

"Anytime we can bring our community together on campus for a day of fun and excitement is a win," said JSCC Athletic Director Dr. Kevin Lynum. “We’re dedicated to fostering a stronger, enjoyable, and safer community and this event gives us a chance to make an impact in the lives of families in our community.”
