Eligibility Criteria
To join the Chi Omicron Chapter of PTK at JSCC:
- GPA Requirement: 3.25 or higher
- Credit Hours: Completion of at least 12 college credit hours
Eligible students will receive an email invitation from a PTK advisor at the start of each semester. A one-time membership fee of $80.00 is required, which supports scholarships, conventions, and local chapter activities.
Membership Benefits
- Recognition: Receive the Golden Key Membership Pin and a membership certificate.
- Graduation Honors: Members with a 3.25 GPA will have PTK membership noted on their transcripts and diplomas and can wear PTK regalia at graduation.
- Scholarship Opportunities: Transfer scholarships are available at institutions like Union University, Bethel University, Lipscomb University (Nashville), and the University of Memphis.
- Leadership and Growth: Engage in experiences that promote scholarly and servant leadership.
