The Associate of Arts/Science Sociology pathway is designed for students pursuing a career in sociology or a career built around the foundation of sociology. The coursework provides the student with a solid academic background for transferring to a four-year university to pursue a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree, depending upon the career path selected. Examples of sociology careers include education, criminal justice, and social research.
