The Art Club is open to all JSCC students who are interested in art. This organization promotes the appreciation and practice of the visual arts both on our campus and in the community.
The mission of the Black Student Association is to Empower, Enrich, Encourage, and Educate students of Jackson State Community College through cultural enrichment. This organization is intentional in developing young adults into successful citizens by breaking barriers and building bridges.
The Global Learning Program at Jackson State fosters responsible global citizenship through diverse curricular and co-curricular initiatives.

The Multicultural Student Association at Jackson State promotes cultural diversity and global awareness across the JSCC campus and in the Jackson community at large.
PTK is an International Honor Society for two year colleges. Members promote scholarship and service in their community and are eligible for many transfer scholarships.
The Physical Therapist Assistant Club is an organization established to cultivate, promote and sustain the art and science of physical therapy, to represent and safeguard the common interest of the members of the physical therapy profession.
The purpose of this organization shall be to encourage cultural diversity on campus, and to promote an appreciation for Hispanic culture in particular through music, dance, art, etc.
Spilled Ink provides its members with opportunities to develop the skills involved in creative writing.
The purpose of the SNA shall be to assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education through leadership development and political activism in an attempt to provide for the highest quality of health care.
The Art Club, founded in 1996, is open to all JSCC students who are interested in art. This organization promotes the appreciation and practice of the visual arts both on our campus and in the community. The club encourages cultural enrichment by providing experiences with guest artists, workshops, and field trips. Each year the club has fund-raisers to assist in defraying the cost of art trips. The club has visited art museums in Chicago, Memphis, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, and St Louis.
The purposes of this organization include:
• Encouragement of the visual arts among JSCC students, faculty, and the community at large
• Providing an outlet for work and exposure in the visual arts among students and the JSCC community
• Expanding learning activities among its members by club activities
• Providing a forum for dialogue art-interested students and faculty at JSCC

Students with a 3.25 or higher GPA and at least 12 college credit hours are invited to join Phi Theta Kappa. Eligible students will receive a membership invitation email from a PTK advisor during the first few weeks of each semester. Members pay a one-time membership fee of $80.00, which helps to fund scholarships, conventions, and our local chapter's activities.

Spilled Ink (formerly the Creative Writing Club) provides its members with opportunities to develop the skills involved in creative writing. We hold workshop meetings to revise and polish work in progress, and we seek to bring awareness of literature to our campus by sponsoring open-mic readings and a journal.
The purpose of the JSCC SNA shall be:
• To assume responsibility for contributing to nursing education through leadership development and political activism in an attempt to provide for the highest quality of health care;
• To provide programs representative of the fundamental and current professional interest and concerns;
• To aid in the holistic development of the individual in his/her professional role, including his/her responsibility for the health care of people in all walks of life;
The functions of the JSCC SNA shall be:
• To promote and encourage participation in community affairs and activities towards improving health care and resolving related issues;
• To represent nursing students to the health care consumer, institutions, and other professional organizations;
• To promote and encourage student participation in interdisciplinary activities;
• To promote and encourage recruitment efforts, participation in student activities, and educational opportunities, regardless of a person's race, color, creed, sex, lifestyle, national origin, age, or economic status.
